Pink Ribbon Tour

The Pink Ribbon Tour made it's way through Big Spring. BSFD sported the PINK t-shirts for this amazing cause. Here are some pictures. If you get a chance please look at their website. It has a very unique story behind it all.

Welp, today was my first day back and work and I have to say I really enjoyed it. No, seriously! I dropped Hudson off this morning and got to work at 9:00. (And I have to admit it was pretty easy and I didn't shed a single tear. Because on my lunch hour I snuck a little visit in to see his precious face.) Ah, the joys of him staying with family. =)

We've got a few schools having their School Walk in November. November is Diabetes Awareness month F.Y.I.

I'm excited to meet the new nurses & P.E. coaches that are participating this year. We also have an even with Gold's Gym. November 7th they are hosting a SPIN-A-THON. You can reserve a bike for $50 and all the proceeds go to The ADA. Also, during the month of November, Chili's is donating a portion of sales to the ADA if you present a coupon. (ask me about the coupon, we have plenty!)

Looking forward to Murray's Halloween party Friday night! Cody and I have a super fun costume!!!!

6 straight hours of sleep last night

Hudson slept for 6 hours straight last night! We woke up around 4:45am for a bottle, back in bed by 5:15 and up around 8:15! We had our morning chat while he was in his swing and he smiled and coo'd like he had so much to tell me. It's amazing how much he is growing and developing his own personality. I go back to work tomorrow and am actually pretty excited. I'm ready to get back on an actual schedule. We are so blessed that Gram will be keeping him instead of putting him in a daycare right away. She was at Kelview Heights Preschool & Daycare for 20 years and decided to retire and keep Hudson for us! God is doing some amazing things in our life these days.

Cody and I just returned from a much needed husband & wife trip to San Antonio. We left Thursday morning and enjoyed the Riverwalk, great food, shopping, Fright Fest at Fiesta Texas, crazy roller coasters & best of all two nights of well rested sleep! Cody's mom (Chita) kept Hudson at our house and we were so thankful for that.

So I decided to give in and start a blog. Mainly for myself to keep track of such a busy life with a new baby and for family who don't get to see Hudson very often. Hudson is 8 weeks 1 day today but seems like he's going on 15! These last 8 weeks have been nothing shy of amazing. I've had the opportunity to spend every second with the most handsome baby in the world. He's already developed his own personality. He talks and coos and it melts my heart every time. Our last doctors visit was last week and he weighs 12lbs 8oz!! He's already grown out of newborn clothes and diapers. He's now in a 1-2 diaper and can fit in 3-6month clothing. This picture is one of my favorites, Hudson was two days old and a spitting image of Cody. As the days pass, he's beginning to look more like mama!
