Hello Fall!!!

Although our weather has still been in the upper 70's the leaves are changing and falling, the mornings have become cool and crisp and the time has changed. (which I am not liking very much at the moment) Hudson's internal clock is right on track and he's waking up around 7:00 every morning. But I can't complain too much because he's still getting around 12 hours of sleep and I'm up early to watch cartoons, snuggle him and get some things done around the house. He will be 15 months on the 31st!!!!!! Such a handsome smart lil boogie. We are blessed more and more every day. He's learning ever so quickly and growing like a weed. He's in 2T clothing and nothing smaller! Size 5 diapers, trying and LOVING every food we give him. Lil Ham!

I have planned a surprise trip for Cody for his birthday on the 20th. Probably one of the best birthday's I've planned and I haven't spilled the beans yet. Only thing he knows is we will be traveling to Dallas that weekend. Stay tuned for details!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas is right around the corner, Thanksgiving will be here before we know it! I am still debating if I want to volunteer to cook and have everyone over to our house. EEEK. Of course I would have help from everyone on the cooking part, because we all know, I am NO Betty Crocker.

Our new Christmas tradition will be taking Hudson individually and having him pick out an ornament for Daddy and one for Mommy. And on Christmas Eve we will exchange =)
Cody and I are also working on a huge personalized toy chest for Huddy! It's going to be so great, I can't wait to put it all together. He has so many toys and nick nacks, it'll be nice to have them all together and not strung all over the house.

Fall Fun

October 27th....already??? Seriously, these months keep flying by faster and faster. Our Midland Step Out Walk is over and what a success! We are still short of our goal but expect to reach it by the end of the year. What a great turn out. Over 400 people! As stressful as walk time can be it all pays off in the end. This year we were blessed with many new faces, and of course the people who always return to make the walk such a success. We had a great new addition this year, Dr. Stephen Ponder. He's the new endocronologist at MCH Diabetes Center. He's come all the way from Corpus Christi to call Midland/Odessa home!

Such a powerful group!!! Karah was smiling down on each and everyone of you!!

Hudson will be 14 months on Halloween!!!
He is such a little ham. He still amazes me everyday with the things he is learning.
We took him to the Airsho and he loved every minute of it.

Halloween is right around the corner and my favorite time of year. I am so very excited to take Hud around to the trunk or treats and friends houses this year. His costume came in the other day and we tried it on and I laughed for a good solid 5 min. He's going to look adorable.

We have such a busy EXCITING weekend. Cody, our friends Cody Davidson and his wife Sarah and I have world series tickets to see the Ranger's kick some SF Giant booty in Arlington!!!!!!! Quick trip starting Saturday morning and coming home Sunday. Cody is a huge Ranger's fan and has always been since I have know him. I have to admit, baseball is not my most favorite sport and I've just recently gotten in to it. Especially after my first experience at Ranger Stadium (an early b-day present from Cody) Anywho...the game I went to was awesome. Ranger's were trailing the whole game until the 9th and a super fantastic play was made for them to take the lead. The play actually got our group on TV! Our local news, ESPN and Sports Center. We had great seats. So needless to say I was hooked after that. ANTLERS UP!!!

Everyone have a safe and fun Halloween!!!!!

Pirate Party!

Hudson had his pirate party Saturday September 4th. What a great turn out we had. Our family is so very blessed with great friends and family. My mother, Gram and Cody's mom helped out so much. Not to mention, Hudson's God-mother Kristen Nicole ;-) So glad she came in town to celebrate with us.
My mom insisted making the cake and what a great job she did!

September 8th Cody and I celebrated our 3 <3year anniversary. The greatest 3 years ever imaginable. He's so wonderful and our relationship has grown so much. We had a great relaxing night. Dinner at Logan's and came home to our sweet baby boy, lounged and watched tv. I got 2 anniversary bands for my wedding ring!!

Septmember is such a busy month at work. We have our Odessa Step Out Walk September 18 and have been running around like crazy. We have a little down time before our Midland Walk and then it's GO TIME! I'll be glad when it's all over and I can relax.

I've been thinking about signing Cody & I up for Warrior Dash in ATX Nov. 20 for his birthday. Not sure if we'd be ready for that though. He's never been to 6th street, so I may have to convince him there is free beer at WD after you complete it!!!!!!!!
Slow down crazy busy hectic life!!!!!

ONE!!!

Tomorrow is the day. Hudson Rhyder Quintana will be a year old. And mommy will be an emotional wreck. (In a good way, if that's possible.) This time last year Cody and I were as best prepared to bring a baby into this world as we could be. We had a nice dinner at Outback last year, double checked our hospital bags and tried to get as much rest as possible. (No such luck) At 5:00am we arrived at the hospital ready to meet our son. 12, long, very long, some stressful, some peaceful hours later we were told I was at a 10 and it was time!!! And at that very moment I knew that my child was going to be stubborn. Pushing was endless and it felt like I couldn't push any longer and was out of energy. Dr. Doke told me his head was in a weird position and was unable to get a good grasp on him. C-section it was. I was terrified. Thankfully my family and husband were there to calm my nerves (and some very awesome drugs.) At 9:35 pm August 31, 2009 we had a bouncing, handsome, sweet angel baby boy!!!!!!

This past year has been so very amazing....can't wait for many more.

Saturday is the BIG party!! Pictures to follow =)

It's the little things..

Hudson & I have been up since 5:00 am this morning and after ONE cup of coffee, a bowl of honey nut cheerios and two chess men cookies, hearing "Word of God Speak" on air1, and having my husband tell me when I got in his truck that I "looked so beautiful this morning" this is one of the best days that I will remember forever! I guess little man just wanted to play at such an early hour this morning. After about an hour of having his toys strung all over the house and dancing around like a maniac, he wore himself out and let me cuddle him (which is rare because he refuses to sit still unless he's exhausted or sick) He then fell asleep on my chest for about 45 min. It brought back so many memories of him being a newborn and after his morning feedings we would both fall back asleep on the couch.

ONE WEEK from today my angel baby will be ONE year old!! (I am such a mom, I held back tears just typing that. Ughhh)
What a blessed day it has been. Even through the chaos and craziness of our lives, I love finding the time to enjoy the simple things and take in all of God's glory! God is good all the time<3

A little bit of baby humor :-}

Birthday countdown has begun

20 days and my little tiny newborn handsome baby will be ONE YEAR OLD. The most amazing year that I have experienced. Cody and I have shared so many magical moments being a mother & father and our relationship has become even stronger and greater over the past year. Hudson is a true miracle and such a blessing, he amazes me every day!!!

HRQ one day old.

Play date with Cameron. 8-6-10
He's 11 months and Cam is 6 months

He is officially walking all over the place!! He's learned to make a fist and knock on doors and windows to get someones attention. Waves byebye backwards ;-)
Gives kisses and rests his head on your shoulder when he wants a hug. Loves babies and is so curious about them. Enjoys playdates of all kinds. Facinated with puppies/dogs. He is on the never ending list at Midland College Daycare and we hope to get a spot with in the next few years =)
Climbing on everything and being such a BOY!

Can't wait for his birthday party!!!!!!!!!!!

Whirlwind...

Wow. Time is flying and I continue to count my blessings every day.
We had our family reuinion July 17-18 in Dunn TX. Right outside of Snyder TX. Gram's side of the family is so wonderful. I haven't seen some of them in at least 10 years and I was introduced to some. It was a joy to take Hudson and have him meet everyone. He had a blast and was center of attention the whole weekend. Cody was unable to make it because he was covering for someone on another shift. Mom Gram Hud and I headed out early Saturday morning and met up with everyone and had a great time catching up.

Sunday was a day to hit my knees and thank the good Lord for another day, my sweet precious family, another day that I was lucky enought to be alive!! I had received news that a friend of mine was involved in a horrible boat accident. I call her a friend even though we had only met once a few years ago but never have really had the chance to hang out. She was always so sweet and we had kept in touch through facebook and I occasionally saw her and her sweet family at church. She was very involved with our Step Out Walk to Fight Diabetes. She said our prayer last year. We had a split second to chat about our babies while she was registering that morning. She had brought Madden and he was bundled up in his stroller ready to stroll with his family and find a cure for diabetes. I remember hearing her voice, as everyone bowed their head and she prayed over everyone. Praying that we one day find a cure. I saw her after the walk leaving with her sweet baby boy and she waved goodbye. I saw her a few times at church and we exchanged smiles, never knowing that one day God would call her up to Heaven so soon. I know the lake she was on very well. I know that part of it its very dangerous even during the day with all the rocks it's hard to steer clear of them. My heart aches for all of those involved. What a trajic accident. All four were injured and Karah left behind so many loved ones. Every day I think about her and her family that she left behind and how her husband has to raise their baby without his mother, how a father and mother lost a daughter, friends lost a great friendship, but then I realize that God had a greater plan for her and Heaven needed another angel. I continue to pray for her family and friends and her son, that he grow up and know how very speacial his mother was.
Prayers for the Northcutt's/Brooks. <><

Holy July already!!!

Seriously? July. Who sped up time? Baby boy turned 10 months on June 30th. It's still so amazing to watch him grow and learn.

Before pictures with Mallory!

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend, despite all the rain and cloudy weather.

Sweet Summer Time...

I LOVE SUMMER!!!!!! Even though the temps have been climbing and it's been a tad humid, I LOVE SUMMER. The long nights, cute summer outfits, MY SON'S FIRST BIRTHDAY, lakes and swimming pools!!! Hudson turns ONE on August 31st. I can't believe how fast time goes. Planning a birthday for a one year old is so much fun. Scratch that, a pirate theme birthday is so much fun!!
We have a mini summer session wth Mallory in a couple of weeks. So looking forward to that! Cody and I are also getting a mini vacation. We are headed to Lewisville mid July for Fire Fighter Olympics. He'll be playing golf and softball and I'll be laying by the pool and shopping. We get to see my dear friend Amber and meet her super sweet boy toy! Looking forward to it.

We had a 9 month well check for Hud on June 1st.
Weight: 22 1/2
Height: 29 3/4
Head: 18 1/4   he now has 10 teeth top four, bottom four and two bottom molars on both sides.

We've almost made the transition from formula to whole milk. He loves whole milk and I am not suprised, he loves everything we give him. He still takes formula every now & then to get all the vitamins. But thank goodness we are almost done, that stuff is smelly and $$$$ expensive.

Cody's first Father's Day was last weekend and we had the best weekend. He was actually off Saturday & Sunday so we ran around town and lounged all day Saturday. Sunday we made the trip to O'donnell to see all of his fam. Hudson and I bought him a new bow case =)

What an awesome, loving daddy Hudson has!

9 months old!

Our baby boy turned 9 months on Monday May 31st. It was also a holiday and a long weekend. I had Friday and Monday off & it was much needed. We took Hudson to the pedi at 9:30, we knew it was going to be an easy visit because there were no shots involved this time. THANK GOODNESS. Debbie Reese is an amazing pediatrician, she was mine until I turned 16. I insisted on going to her untill the very last moment that I could. And that day came when I was 16. She told me, "Ash, I love treating you but it's time you find a doctor and not a pedi!" haha
She has a very stern side and rarely smiles and cuts up. This appointment was totally different. She was grabbing Hud's legs and tickling them and telling him how cute he was. She told us everything looked great and he was progressing as he should...even ADVANCED! We knew that considering he is an early bird at everything. He's got 8 teeth and she noticed the top left molar was coming through. He's wearing anything from 12-24 month clothes, loves snowcones and bluberry muffins. Army crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything. Loves to swing and play in his pool.

Sharing a banana shake with dad

Weight: 22 1/2

3 more months and he will be a year old!!!
Let the party planning begin.

We had a great lazy, yet productive Memorial Day. Thank you to all who have served and who are serving and protecting us and our freedom! MANY THANKS

Summa Summa Summa Time

My first Mother's Day

Wow. This month, this whole year has flown by. As the months go by I watch my son pull himself up on any stable object, I see him smile and show his 8 tiny teeth, I look into his eyes and wonder what is going on in that sweet little mind of his. When people say "Enjoy every minute" they aren't kidding! It has been such a blessing to be a Mother. I enjoyed my very first Mother's day and I couldn't have asked for more. God has blessed me with such an amazing mother, a great family and the greatest gift in the world..to be Hudson's mother.

Memorial weekend is next weekend and Cody has some time off. We were originally planning a PK lake trip but plans fell through so we have a few more options in the works. It's so nice to get out of town, especially with each other!! Hudson will be 9 months on the 31st. I'm already planning a 1 year Birthday Party!!

We visited daddy at the station on Sunday and took some sper cute pictures....

It's MAY already?!?

What a wonderful weekend! The first annual Crude Fest was this past weekend & it was a blast. 22 Texas Country bands, camping, friends and good times. Cody, Casie & Murray set up the camper and campsite Thursday night and Casie & Murray stayed the night and Cody & I joined them Friday morning. Chita kept Hudson for the weekend and took him to see her side of the family in O'donnell on Saturday. Hudson turned 8 months on Saturday!!!!

Husband & I

It was a fun weekend but I was anxious to get home to see my baby boy!
Hudson has started pulling up on things. With a little help he stands all by himself. He'll be walking in no time!! I'm on the hunt for the perfect pair of walking shoes.
He had a pickle for the first time yesterday and loved it. He really didn't make a face because of the sourness he just wanted MORE.

5/3/2010

Our kitchen is almost complete!!! Cody has worked so hard. He has basically done all the work by himself with a little help from his dad, saving us big $$$$$ bucks.
I can finally start putting things in the cabinets and start getting things organized. We went grocery shopping Sunday and loaded up on EVERYTHING!! So excited to have everything done and invite people over. I'm thinking crawfish broil. =)

Looking forward to my very first "real" Mother's Day!

12 Reasons to LOVE being a Mom..

1. You receive a reception worthy of American Idol even though you'd only left the room for a minute to get wipes.

2. There is no better exercise than chasing a toddler through the mall- except maybe chasing two of them

3. When was the last time an adult hugged you simply for buying cookies?

4. You can't put videos of your husband on YouTube dancing to Beyonce's "Single Ladies" but the baby, upload away!

5. Babies don't accidentally butt dial your cell phone and they never hog the remote.

6. Nothing's sexier than a man holding a baby- except for a man to be changing a diaper!

7. The 100th reading of Good Night Moon is every bit as good as the first.

8. You no longer look quite as silly dressing up for Halloween.

9. You've got a built in excuse for RSVP'ing "NO" whenever you feel like it.

10. Somebody loves you no matter what you are wearing (strained peas on your shirt) what you're doing (prepping yet another birthday party) or how long it's been since you've showered (Tuesday? Uh no, Monday)

11. NAPTIME

12. Alarm clocks are more appealing when they are wearing footie pajamas!

I found this in my monthly subscription of American Baby Magazine. (with a friend from highschool on the cover!) too cute

Being a mother is the greatest blessing I have ever received!
I Love you HRQ

8 lil teefies, Nascar Blues, & LBD

Hudson has been napping in very short periods lately. We're talking 30-45 minutes sometimes. It's just been here lately but he was never acting like it bothered him so I was never concerned. Come to find out, lil man had 4 new teeth peek through yesterday. First Mia noticed the bottom ones on both sides of his other teeth already in. I took him home and showed Cody and he noticed the top two on both side of the other ones!! He'll be eating steak before we know it. (Of course I tried to get a picture but he wasn't having it)

Waiting on Daddy to get home. I think he was jibbering and tell me what to do here.

Cody returned yesterday from Dallas. He and some friends went for NASCAR but the entire race was postponed due to the weather. He and his buddies have been going for three years now and it's a guys tradition. He had fun, minus the weather and missing the best part of the race. Monday the track was finally dry and the drivers got to race. It started around 11:00 and they had to be on the road soon, so they only got to watch about an hour of racing. He did come back with a nasty cold though. Hope he feels better and doesn't pass it on =(
He's been on vacation for almost a month & it's nice having him home. He goes back to work on Thursday. Our kitchen is almost complete. I don't want to jinx it though. So much has gone wrong. We should get granite, sink, and drawers in tonight. CROSS YOUR FINGERS!!! By the end of this week, we hope to have a fully functioning kitchen..woo!

Hudson and I had a busy weekend. We had a baby shower to attend for Sarah and baby Paden. Then I had a lingerie shower for miss Harpe, soon to be Lambdin!! Her wedding is Saturday and I can't wait. it was great seeing all the girls glammed up in their LBD's.

Oie Vey!!!

I'm about to go Chuck Norris on someone!! Our cabinet guy is starting to make my skin crawl. His mesasurements on two cabinets have been wrong. Our drawers were sent off to be sanded and something went wrong with them and they have yet to be installed! I understand he gave us a great deal on building custom cabinets and installing them but he is very unreliable!! Being without a kitchen for over a month is no bueno. On the other hand our granite should be cut Monday and if all is right with the cabinets, it will be put in on Tuesday when Cody gets back from NASCAR. He leaves Thursday with his buddies and will be back Monday. This is his annual guys trip. He's been going for 3 years now and I still don't get it. Going around left left left left in a circle track is just crazy to me. Hopefully our oven will be hooked up tonight so I can at least start baking meals in the oven and NO MORE TAKE OUT! I swear, as much as we have been eating out, I'm suprised we haven't gained 100 pounds.
AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

This Saturday I have a lingerie shower for a good friend of mine. She's getting married April 24th!! All the girls are getting together and having a little black dress night... super excited.
I remember our last LBD..

LBD '07

Hudson will be 8 months at the end of April. I thought girls were supposed to be the drama queens? He must be going through a phase. It's so funny to watch him when we walk out of the room..he makes the saddest face and screams at the top of his lungs. If you peek around the corner he quits and instantly smiles =)
GOOBER!
We saw our gallery from Mal after she edited Hud's pics. They turned out pretty good for the mood he was in that day. She always amazes me..
This one is my favorite..

Good Friday & Easter 2010

HAPPY EASTER! What a great time we had at the lake. The weather was great and we got to see some friends we haven't seen in a while.

Me, Amber & Hudson on the boat!
His first boat ride was a success. He hated the life jacket, so that came off eventually.

Girls

Hudson and the Bluebonnets. Easter 2010

We stopped on the side of the road right before Llano and took some pictures of Husdon in a beautiful field of Bluebonnets and wild flowers. Of course he tried to eat them.
We had a great drive, the scenery closer to the hill country is amazing. Hudson did pretty well in the car until we had our second blow out diaper of the trip! Those prunes I've been feeding him must have kicked in. Daddy got one diaper after Hud's nap and I got the second one on the road =(

We rented a wakeboard and I actually got up on my first try after being out of the game for over a year! I'm paying for it though, my whole body is sore and my legs are sunburned.

WE HAVE CABINETS!!! They were installed Thursday night. Waiting on the measurements for the granite, staining the cabinets and installing the drawers and we will have a functioning kitchen again.

yay.

7 months old!!

Today our sweet baby boy is 7 months old. It's so crazy, because I remember like it was yesterday we were taking him home from the hospital.

At 7 months Hudson is:
*Babbling like crazy, saying mama dada all the time
*In a size 4 diaper
*Taking in around 32oz of formula a day
*Eating solids, fruits, veggies anything we give him
*Recognizes his name
*Scooting all over the floor, ocassionally crawling
*Can wear anything from 9-18 month clothing
*Giggling at anything and everything
*Loves bath time and any sort of water
*Starting to wave and hug

HAPPY 7 MONTHS BABY BOY

We should have cabinets installed today!! Then Cody and his dad can stain them, the granite guy can come in and measure and that means we are ONE step closer to having a kitchen. Appliances have been ordered, and Cody worked on the crown molding yesterday. Only bad news, our kitchen table is still back ordered and won't be in untill late April. Once everything is complete we are throwing a PARTY! Hooray. being without a kitchen is a nightmare but I know it's going to be worth it in the long run.
On a better note, we are leaving town Friday for lake LBJ for Easter. Hudson's first time at the lake!! The Casbeer's always do something fun each year for Easter. Ciji & I have celebrated Good Friday for the past 5 years, (skipping last year) But it's a tradition we always try to keep up. This will be Cody's 2nd Good Friday. The last Good Friday he atteneded we all woke up to a different colored string maze. You had to follow your color of string to the end and let me tell you, that "easter bunny" didn't mess around! We were going under tables, beds, over couches, cabinets, it was crazy but a great Easter to remember!!

Traveling Woman..

WOW! I felt like a traveling gypsy woman this past weekend. I flew into Houston. Jewels picked me up from the airport, from there we suprised Kristen in Rockdale! Friday got up, drove to Austin for SXSW. Rode back to Rockdale with Lil Banks Friday night and drove back to Austin with Kristen on Saturday afternoon. Good thing all these towns are no more than an hour and thirty minutes away. Oh, & I was even in Dallas. (flew in and changed planes to Midland) I was so excited to see everyone. I saw Mama Banks, Bob-O, Lil Banks, K10, Vickie, Cody, Jewels, Nikki, Becca and met Becca's boyfrann Chris. I had so much fun but missed my guys so much.

Driving to ATX for SXSW.

Cody recorded Hudson before bed one night saying "Da Da" Cody would respond by saying "WHO?" Hudson would say "Da Da" He threw in "Ma Ma" a few times. It was so sweet

South by South West was pretty amazing. Millions of people, crazy music and beautiful weather. 6th street and Austin itself is WEIRD, add a few thousand more people & different types of bands and it becomes weirder. But it was a great time. Dinner with the girls was delish. Chuy's has the best Mexi-Martini's and jalepeno cream sauce.

Nikki, myself and Ash. Mexi-martini's at Chuy's

Update on our kitchen:
We are waiting on cabinets. Should get them Saturday. Granite will be installed, and we are picking out new appliances. Cody finished all the taping and sheet rock while I was gone. I can't wait to have my kitchen back, a new one at that.

Pics with Mallory were rescheduled due to our crazy West Texas weather!! We'll see her Monday. Keep your fingers crossed it will be nice, warm & sunny =)

CONGRATS to Kristen on her HOUSE!!<3

Spring Fever

Boy oh boy. I'll be glad when our kitchen is DONE! It is nice sitting with Cody eating take out on our living room floor ;-) We talk about our day and catch up a little. He has been working so very hard on our house and a friend of the family's house. So he is beyond exhasted at night. I hate when he is home for two nights and I get so used to him being there and he's gone the next morning. But I cherish the time we do get to spend together! He's been such a big help with Hudson too. I took a spin class the other day at my old gym and had Cody pick Hud up from Gram's. The class was amazing and it made me realize how much a hard core workout spinning for 45 min was. I came home to a giggling baby on a pallet playing with daddy. Hudson is almost crawling. He's moving around like a fish out of water, just cant get the concept of moving hands and legs at different times. He has pictures this weekend with Mal. I will be out of town but I can't wait to see them.

I am flying to Houston and road tripping to Austin with Jewels. She is working SXSW and we get to see Becca and Nikki. Kenz will be there Saturday and we have a little suprise in store for a certain someone ;-)
Can't wait to see all my girls. It's been long overdue.

Hudson is saying "mama" "dada" it's the sweetest thing. Sometime it's very clear and sometime is kinda jumbly. But it melts our heart. We can't wait to take him to the lake over Easter. I bought the cutest swim outfit. We have a busy few months ahead of us. GOD IS GOOD <><

                                                       ST. PATRICK'S DAY 2010

It cleared up a bit yesterday and we played outside while daddy textured the kitchen ceiling.

March Maddness

Well March sure is "coming in like a lion!" We have completely gutted our kitchen due to a slab leak behind the sink. Not only was the leak in the kitchen, it made it's way into the laundry room. Cody and I had been talking about re-doing the kitchen anyway because it was very outdated and just didn't mesh well with the rest of the house. Of course, we didn't plan on "re-doing" it so soon and we were going to have to take one step at a time!! An insurance agent is coming out Friday to look at the damage and hopefully be kind and give us what we need to replace everything!! Cody and I went to look at granite yesterday for counter tops. WOW. That stuff is pretty crafty and very expensive. Luckily Cody and his dad have been in the home re-modeling business for a while and we have "hook ups" =)

Our lovely kitchen

some of the granite we like

Such amazing weather we've been having lately! Minus the WIND! When the weather is nice Gram takes Hud on strolls around the neighborhood, he loves looking at everything!!!

Strolling with Gram

Silly boy! In Mia's sunglasses

sitting in a big boy high chair..trying to eat my phone!

Hudson has been so entertaining lately. Talking and giggling up a storm. Blowing bubbles and spitting. He is so sweet. He will probably be crawling soon. He gets on all fours and army crawls and scoots all over the place. He hasn't mastered the concept yet but soon enough I'm sure. He's already 6 months and 2 weeks. Where does time go? He has picture with Mallory on the 20th. I'll be in Houston but Mia is taking him and I am so looking forward to what she has in store. She's been taking his pictures since he was in my belly ;-)
I leave for Houston on the 18th to see Jewels and go to the Houston Rodeo for Eli Young Band. So stoked. I haven't been to Houston or seen some of my girls that live there in so long.

I'm staying pretty busy with work this month as well. We have 3 school walks this month and Diabetes Alert day is the 23rd. I love my job more and more everyday. I really feel like I'm playing a part to find a cure and get the message out there that diabetes is a serious disease. If you know anyone who has diabetes, Type 1 or Type 2, please refer them to us. You can call my office at 570.1232 or email me at aquintana@diabetes.org.
